Having done not much the last few days.. >__<
But currently I'm planning some single day trips around Tokyo :D

One of my friend's participates in the school's drama club and they held a performance on Friday and Saturday. As far as I could understand (it was in Japanese and my Japanese is not too good yet >__<)
the play's about a girl who comes from Osaka with farmers as parents. But she doesn't want to become a farmer and therefore moves to Tokyo. I love watching plays and really enjoyed this one :) Even though I didn't understand everything the actor's did a good job and I just loved watching them act their part :)

New snow~

A new thin layer of snow awaited me when I went to look outside the window.  So I wasn't in the mood to go outside (I'm not really a fan of walking in snow..) So all I did today was go through my stuff and decide what stuff can be thrown away and which I'm going to bring back to Germany..

Ghibli-Tickets

Today nothing much happened. (Or maybe I should say I didn't do much ;)
In the morning I wrote two postcards to my friend in Germany and to my parents:

In the afternoon my block-friends and I went to Lawson to buy tickets for the Ghibli-Museum yay~ ^o^//
Though it's not possible to take pictures of the inside I will take some pictures of the outside :)

Another hot day ;)

Today is another warm day :)

I walked into the city and enjoyed the smooth breeze of wind.
I saw a bird sitting on a stone in the river. Is it a seagull? Do you know which kind of bird it is? Please write in the comments ;)

On my way back I saw the same river in beautiful colors and had to capture it :D

Though, of course, a digicam can't fully capture all the colors at sunset.

a hot day and cleaning time

Today I went out to do a little bit of grocery shopping, it was kind of hot day.

In the evening I did some pancakes :9 One of them looked a bit like a cat. Do you recognize it? lol

at 10 pm every Thursday and Sunday we have "souji", meaning we have to clean our dorm.
A lot of people had to leave and the dorm becomes more silent T__T
After souji we ate the omiyage I brought back from Kusatsu:

It's called "Fuyu no Koibito" (Winter's lover) and sweet chocolate mochi. :)

A sunny day ^-^

Today I went around walking a bit and found a shrine:

It was a very sunny and relatively hot day. I thought it's going to be cold so took my skiing jacket with me and turned out walking with it in my arms. lol

A new begining...

Today I'm starting my photo diary.
But why do I want to start a photo diary?
Right now I have no classes in my university and I haven't really  planned anything for this vacation.
So to force myself to do some stuff and get outside of my dormitory I will post at least one photograph everyday until lessons start again :) It's also good to remember and see all the stuff done in vacation..which I almost always forget excerpt for some awesome trips ;)

Today's photo:

I was in Kusatsu (Japan) at the end of January and bought some souvenirs there.  This photograph shows an ofuro/ (public) hot bath towel with Onsen  Manjuu (hot spring japanese or chinese speciality)
So today I took a bath  in my dorm's ofuro and after that I ate two Onsen Manjuus ^__^
The little ribbon on top of the towel was a sticker I got when I bought another souvenir. It was put on the packaging but since I'll keep the souvenir for myself I didn't need it. So I got the idea to turn it into a magnet to keep as another souvenir :D
